These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Clinical Compliance Institute website, courses, assessments, training, educational materials, digital resources, and related services offered by ThoRNe Consulting, LLC d/b/a Clinical Compliance Institute (“CCI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using CCI's website, purchasing CCI products or services, or accessing CCI materials, you agree to these Terms.

Educational Purpose

CCI provides educational information, training, assessments, templates, tools, and resources related to healthcare practice safety, compliance, and operations.

CCI content is provided for educational and informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice.

CCI does not guarantee that completing a course, receiving a certificate of completion, using a template or resource, completing an assessment, or implementing a particular process will make an individual or organization compliant with any federal, state, or local law, regulation, licensing requirement, accreditation standard, or other requirement.

Healthcare organizations remain responsible for identifying and evaluating requirements applicable to their own location, workforce, services, procedures, and circumstances and for obtaining appropriate legal, regulatory, or professional guidance when necessary.

No Professional Relationship

Use of CCI's website, courses, assessments, training, or resources does not create an attorney-client relationship, healthcare provider-patient relationship, or other professional relationship unless separately established through a written agreement.

Regulatory Information

Laws, regulations, standards, and guidance may change and may vary by jurisdiction, practice type, workforce, services, and other circumstances.

CCI makes reasonable efforts to provide useful and current educational information but does not represent that every resource, course, or recommendation applies to every healthcare practice or circumstance.

Users and organizations are responsible for confirming requirements applicable to their own operations.

Accounts and Individual Training Access

Certain CCI courses, programs, and resources require an account.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for activity occurring through their accounts.

Training access is licensed to the individual user. Each staff member completing CCI training must have their own individual login when individual course participation or a certificate of completion is required.

Login credentials for individual training accounts may not be shared between staff members.

Certificates of completion reflect the individual account holder's completion of the applicable training and may not be transferred to or represented as the completion of another individual.

Practice-Wide Resources

Certain CCI resources, including eligible templates, checklists, policies, implementation tools, and other materials identified as practice resources, are intended to support use throughout the purchasing healthcare practice.

Unless otherwise stated, a purchasing practice may use and share eligible practice resources internally with its own workforce for the practice's internal business, safety, training, and compliance-related activities.

Practice-wide use does not permit materials to be sold, published publicly, distributed to unrelated organizations, uploaded to public resource libraries, or otherwise commercially redistributed.

Individual training access and certificates of completion remain subject to the individual-account requirements described above.

Purchases and Payment

Prices, payment terms, and product information are presented at the time of purchase.

By purchasing a CCI course, program, training product, or resource, you agree to pay the amount presented at checkout and provide accurate and current billing information.

Refund Policy

All sales are final once access to the purchased course, program, training, or digital resource has been granted.

Because CCI products include access to digital educational content, training, tools, and/or downloadable resources, refunds will not be provided after access has been granted, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Customers experiencing a technical access problem should contact CCI so we can assist with access to the purchased product.

Certificates of Completion

Where offered, a certificate of completion indicates that the individual identified on the certificate completed the applicable CCI training.

A certificate of completion does not constitute professional licensure, accreditation, regulatory approval, certification of the healthcare practice, or a determination that an individual or organization is compliant with applicable law or regulation.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, CCI's website content, courses, videos, assessments, templates, downloads, graphics, written materials, frameworks, and other resources are owned by or licensed to ThoRNe Consulting, LLC d/b/a Clinical Compliance Institute and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

CCI's proprietary educational frameworks and materials, including Learn • Apply • Verify, may not be reproduced or commercially distributed except as expressly permitted by CCI.

Purchase or access provides a limited right to use CCI materials according to the terms applicable to the purchased product.

Prohibited Use

Except for permitted internal practice use described above, CCI materials may not be:

• Resold or commercially redistributed
• Shared with unrelated practices or organizations
• Republished publicly
• Uploaded to another commercial training or educational platform
• Copied or reproduced for sale
• Presented as another person's or organization's original work
• Used to create competing commercial training, courses, templates, or resources

Nothing in these Terms prevents a purchasing practice from using eligible practice-wide resources internally as intended.

User Conduct

Users agree not to misuse the CCI website or services, attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account, interfere with website operations, circumvent access controls, or use CCI materials in violation of applicable law or these Terms.

Third-Party Services

CCI may rely on or provide links to third-party services. Use of third-party websites and services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.

CCI is not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices, or operation of third-party services outside CCI's control.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CCI's website, educational content, training, assessments, tools, and resources are provided without warranties regarding specific compliance, regulatory, operational, financial, or business outcomes.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ThoRNe Consulting, LLC d/b/a Clinical Compliance Institute and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of CCI's website, courses, training, assessments, resources, or other materials.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

CCI may update these Terms periodically. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

Continued use of the website or CCI services following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
